models and volumes are then iteratively executed to:

4. Perform SAP kernel tuning
There's no need to license any software or purchase any hardware to conduct the scalability (stress) test. We bring
everything we need!
Pricing is determined by number of SAP systems (Enterprise, BW, APO, SCM, etc); the number of concurrent users;
the number of transactions and interfaces. We recommend an initial analysis to arrive at a detailed scope and
statement of work. We will deliver a document that can also be used to solicit competing bids.
Unit, Security, Integration, Regression and Business Process Testing
Business Process Testing is offered as a managed service. TestFactory will install a transport into your SAP system
which is a central console to manage all your SAP testing. The testing repository is used by developers, business
process testers, security personnel and auditors and contains all information regarding test executions for every
project. The typical repository population follows this order:
1. Developers or Test Captains capture a transaction and perform a unit test.
- Visual test results are available with Response times and pass/fail criteria.
- Test purpose and executions can be tied to SAP Correction and Transport
2 Security personnel runs the transactions through testing by SAP User or Profile
- Positive and Negative access testing
- No need to understand how to run a transaction since its already captured in the repository
3. Integration testers add captured transactions to a Business Process.
- Integration testing is performed on any part of a business process
- All transactions and steps in a business process can be re-played at any time.
4. Auditors verify implementation and testing
- View visual results
- View security results
Again, there's no need to license any software. We provide Business Process Testing as a quarterly Managed
Service. We'll assist you in the initial capture, testing and verification of a business process in the form of a well
written Statement of Work with a clear deliverable.
Once a Business Process has been constructed, it can be Regression tested completely or in parts, over and over
with no involvement from TestFactory. The quarterly managed service fee is determined by the level of involvement
and support our customer requires from us on an ongoing basis. It can be as little as 40 hours per quarter per
business process. The fee can further be negotiated depending on the number of actively managed business
processes.
